About Us

Our Story

The Beginning

StarWave Games was born in a small apartment in Los Angeles in 2013. Five young gamers with an outsized dream — to build a world-class game company that could stand alongside the greatest studios on the global stage.

In those early days, the team worked around the clock in a cramped space, fueled by passion and takeout coffee. Our first self-developed title, Star Odyssey, launched in 2015 — and though it had its rough edges, the response from our small but devoted player community gave us the strength to keep going.

2017 was our breakout year. Empire Awakening became a surprise hit, breaking $10M in monthly revenue within weeks of launch. Investment followed, and we accelerated our expansion across North America, Asia, and Europe.

Today, StarWave Games stands as a diversified global entertainment company with 500+ employees and multiple billion-dollar franchises. But we never forget where we came from — and we never stop fighting to earn our players' trust with every new release.
